FAQ’s

1. What does it cost? – It’s free. Our hope is that you will contribute valuable content and build relationships with other members.
2. How will the site be marketed to homeowners? Our first objective is to get quality business members on board to establish initial content.  Then we will launch an advertising campaign targeting homeowners to join.
3. How can I get local leads from a national forum? The directory is searchable by state.  Over time, as the directory grows, we will narrow the search fields.  But the directory is search-engine friendly.
4. Do I have to know html? Nope.  You can control your posts using BBC, which is a simplified version of html. It’s very easy, and there are tools to help you along the way.
5. Can I link back to my website, blog and Twitter ID? Absolutely! You can fill out a complete business profile which includes contact info, a bit about your business and links.
6. What kind of traffic will the site get? Online communities are a growing trend.  Consumers would rather interact with people than corporate branding!  It’s all about the relationship.
7. Do I have to submit articles? It’s not required at this point.  We encourage businesses to fully participate in the articles section, and in casual discussions with homeowners through the specific forums.
8. Why would I want to submit articles? It’s a great way to display and promote your expertise.  All articles are search-engine-friendly, meaning the search engines will take notice of your content and provide exposure for you and your business.
9. How is this site different than any other? It’s focused in how the content is presented, and it’s more personal – a real chance to develop relationships with homeowners.
